Some of these files that you delete DO NOT GO TO THE RECYCLING BIN. Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7 SP1, and Vista SP2 English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. Running msconfig and the Services console remain the only way (outside the Registry) to control startup programs. I would also recommend reviewing Orla's post about this malware in another thread on the forum.

Only thing: Avast detects kernel32.dll as infected and wants to delete it. I was able to download the trial version of Windows live onecare. You shouldn't delete this file. Whatever the virus was did not recognize and therefore block the installation. March 23, 2009 rae The solution to your microsoft vista problem is to burn it. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine. Often F12 brings up the booting drive list (not always) at the bios screen time period. It worked like a charm.

However, now I can't get any sound or print anything from the internet.  Any ideas on how to fix this?
